Castle Trimmings Return Policy

We want your online shopping experience to be as enjoyable & trouble free as possible. We therefore advise you to make use of our excellent sampling service. 

If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason (see policy guidelines) please return your order within 30 DAYS of the original dispatch date for a full refund MINUS the original freight charge.

To ensure a simple return process, please follow the guidelines listed below. If your return is due to defective merchandise or an error on our part then please contact us immediately via phone or email.

Policy Guidelines

  • NO returns or exchanges will be accepted on cut length products.  Please use our sample cutting service to check colours.
  • You must contact us by phone or email within 48 hours of receiving your goods if you wish to return.
  • All returns MUST reach our warehouse within 30 days of the original dispatch date.
  • All merchandise MUST be returned in its original shipping condition & packaging.
  • Unless the return is due to our error, the return freight cost is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Please include details of the Invoice in the return package.

  • Customers that meet our return policy will receive a full product refund LESS the original freight charges.
  • Please allow up to 7 days after the product reaches our warehouse to receive a refund. The refund will be made in the same manner as the payment.
  • Customers that do not meet our return policy guidelines will be contacted.

Exchanges

All guidelines in our return policy also apply to exchanges. If you prefer an exchange over a refund, please enclose your New Order together with a copy of the original Invoice along with the product you wish to return. After the return and exchange are calculated (along with the freight charges for the exchange) the remaining balance will be either refunded or charged to your account.

Liabilities

  • In the event of goods being faulty or sent in error our liability will be limited to the replacement of the faulty merchandise. No liability shall attach to Castle Trimmings resulting from delivery of incorrect merchandise to another party nominated by the customer.
  • No liability shall attach to Castle Trimmings resulting from merchandise being used in anyway other than its intended use.

Very Important Information

We offer a very generous return policy because we want to give our customers enough time to inspect and confirm their order. However, the time limit we do have on returns is very strictly enforced. Therefore if we are sending direct to another party such as a workroom/upholsterer on your behalf it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to check with them that the correct product has been delivered before it is possibly stored away awaiting fabric etc.

We are unable to accept claims of any kind after the 30 day time frame has expired OR the returned merchandise has been altered in any way OR not in original shipping condition.

Privacy Policy

Castle Trimmings respect the privacy of every individual who visits our online shop.

Any information that you give us is strictly used just to fulfil the order. WE DO NOT PROVIDE any of your details to any third party. If you have any concerns about your privacy issue, please call us on (02) 9699 6333.

Pricing

We make every attempt to avoid errors in pricing and product information. If a mistake does occur, we reserve the right to correct it, and at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order placed for that item at the incorrect price. We reserve the right to change prices for products displayed on our online store at any time.

All prices listed on this site are in Australian dollars. All purchases delivered in Australia will incur the standard 10% GST.

Payment methods

Castle Trimmings will not store your bank account information; all of our transactions are processed by Stripe which is a Payment Processing Platform for the Internet.

Please note- You do not require a Stripe account to purchase from Castle Trimmings via Stripe as Stripe as all major Credit & Debit cards are accepted.
